Mill Cottage

This beautiful Grad II  listed mill cottage was subjected to a horrific flood that ripped through the property and caused devastation throughout. When deciding how to restore the property back to its original glory the owners appointed us to discuss key moves and see if better circulation and flow could be achieved. By moving the staircase a stunning new entrance hall was created and a utility room and small ensuite was also gained on the first floor. The changes were done sensitively and with the guidance of English heritage

We specified all the new finishes and carefully drew up the joinery detailing in accordance with the guidance received from the listed building case officer. Then we worked through the furniture specification utilising antiques and family air looms the client was keen to keep and showcase in the newly refurbished space.

A stunning property that needed care and sensitivity to bring it back to life, and then some!
